Most people never see their swimming pool get cleaned. We come while you are at work or out of town, and all you have to go on afterward is whether the water looks right.
We send a report by email after every stop with a photo of your pool taken that day. It takes the guesswork out of a service you are not there to watch, and it settles the question of whether the visit happened the way it should have.
We work the same order on every cleaning, starting at the surface and working down.
We clean in-ground concrete pools only, on a weekly schedule. If something looks wrong at the equipment pad while we are there, you hear about it that day rather than finding out weeks later, and we handle the pool equipment repair ourselves.
Most of the rain here falls in a handful of months, and it arrives in short heavy storms rather than steady drizzle. A single afternoon can drop enough water to move your chemistry out of range and wash a load of organic debris off the deck and into the swimming pool at the same time.
Rain also dilutes what is already in the water. So the same storm that adds the problem removes some of the chlorine that would have handled it.
During those months we shift the routine toward staying ahead of it. That means more attention to brushing shaded walls and corners where growth starts, and testing that accounts for how much rain the pool has taken on since the last visit. A pool that gets away from someone over those months usually needs green pool cleanup rather than a normal visit. Through the drier stretch the pool sits calmer and the work moves toward water balance rather than debris.
Chlorine has a short working life in a warm outdoor pool. Sun burns through it, heat speeds up everything happening in the water, and swimmers and debris use up more of it.
In Bonita Springs and Naples there is a second reason it goes quickly, and it has to do with what comes out of the hose. The water used to top off your swimming pool there carries a form of chlorine that has already been combined with something else. That combined chlorine does not sanitize the way fresh chlorine does, and it puts an extra demand on the pool before the new chlorine gets to work on anything.
None of this is a problem on its own. It is the reason the schedule matters. A pool tested and adjusted every week stays ahead of it. A pool tested every other week spends part of that gap with less protection than it needs.
